I got my PC 7424xp yesterday and thought of asking my question in this post instead of creating a new post.
so the machine comes with one foam type of pad (white), can I use this for buffing or any other work? I've already got my polishing and finishing pads but wondering what this does? sorry I'm a newbie

You can just toss that pad that comes with away. It's nothing special. I would stick with the pads you purchased.
