Re: Q: how do i apply D156
Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

I might add that I use it on the whole vehicle after each wash. Glass, trim and paint, it looks good on all. I don't need to worry about using it in direct sunlight nor do I need worry about it leaving a white stain on textured vinyl trim, or residue in cracks and crevices. One of my most used products.Jim

Re: Q: how do i apply D156
I suggest spraying onto the cloth to aid in controlling the amount on a panel. i do this with the cloth held over the section im about to apply to, so that the panel may catch whatever over spray.. just to be OCD.
I have found that with this manner of application a more even result is obtained and less product is used over the course of an entire car due to cloth saturation.
This is a borrowed habit from interior cleaning which has suited me well. As with most other products, I believe the majority of people typically use WAY TOO MUCH PRODUCT for the current application.. resulting in waste which translates to wasted cash. Nobody likes this...

Thx Chris. I also read we should prime the towel with d156 before wiping off a panel. This way the towel.wont absorb alot of wax and allows the wax to spread.
Lots of good advice from you all. Thank youExtreme Radiance Detailing
