  • Recent Pro Training with Protect It, Santa Cruz, CA

In our ongoing program of training dealership, detail shop and body shop personnel, our own Jason Rose was recently asked to conduct a series of seminars in conjunction with our distributor Protect It, Inc, and the folks at Ocean Honda of Soquel, CA who were kind enough to provide garage space for the program. In attendance were 32 detailers from each of the business types mentioned above, and the following topics were covered by Jason and Thomas Nuckles of Protect It:

    • DA Microfiber Correction System, featuring D302 and DMX
    • Swirl Mark Prevention and Correction
    • Carpet and Upholstery Stain Removal, featuring new D106 and D116
    • Steam Cleaning interiors
    • Headlight Restoration

    Comments from participants:
"Wow, amazing performance with the Meguiar's DA System, didn't know that was possible without a rotary"
"New D106 Fiber Rinse is really gonna help me because I was having issues with re-soiling on carpets"
"We were doing headlights by hand before, the machine way will help us get it done faster with less work"

Something I wish more dealerships and body shops knew more about!

The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
