  • Larry Kosilla / Jason Rose / Kevin Brown MAchine Polishing Podcast

Our 2nd podcast together! Click here to listen.

Larry Kosilla of AMMO NYC, Jason Rose of Meguiar's, and Kevin Brown discuss all sorts of paint-polishing subjects, including:

    • Paint residue management
    • Differences in polishing machines (rotary vs small stroke vs large stroke random orbital polishers)
    • Three-tool approach
    • How to become a better paint polisher!

In terms of relaying information in an easy to understand manner.... I think the podcast turned out pretty good.

Let us know what you think..!

I just listened to it yesterday! Great job as usual. Sorry, it slipped my mind to update our makeshift podcast announcement thread. Loved listening to y'all on the Smoking Tire as well!

It's not often we get free advice from people this experienced. Take advantage of it people!

Jason Rose is like the Chuck Norris of detailing.

          Insert Chuck Norris jokes here:

          Jason Rose's hair is 300gsm 80/20 microfiber.
I heard Jason Rose brushes his teeth with a Dual Action polisher.
          He sweats detail spray.
          He can smell a swirl.
Like King Midas, everything Rose touches becomes hydrophobic.
Jason Rose hunted down the first Porter Cable and tamed it as a pet.
He seasons his steak with M205. (disclaimer please don't do this)

Re: Larry Kosilla / Jason Rose / Kevin Brown MAchine Polishing Podcast

We can thank a very slow day in Chemistry for that post haha!

And Jason, call me old fashioned, but my pancakes have never been better than with a little M26. Its all the carnauba that adds the flavor.

Again, it is amazing to listen to you, Kevin, and Larry just drop college levels of detailing knowledge. We really appreciate what you do, and make sure and tell Larry and Kevin that as well. Its a dream of mine to do what you all have done for the detailing and car enthusiast community as a whole.

The impact you all are making really can save the profession. I am only 17, and one of the few "millennials" (I hate that word) that really cares about cars around my area. However, recently what struck me was that last year I would have to explain to every person, friend, or customer what my detailing did versus the local swirl-o-matic, but then about 6 months ago, a friend asked if I did detailing like "AMMO NYC". Then later, I had someone say they looked for a detailer over a normal car wash after they watched a video from someone named "Kosiller" (Keep in mind we are deep south here). Point is, every podcast, video, article that you put out with this information helps build a base, not only of your current customers, but for the next generation as well. My generation. Car Crazy ain't dead yet.

                Long story short:
                "You guys rock!"

                Thanks once again,
                Griffith Hawk

If Jason Rose is the Chuck Norris of Detailing, then Kevin Brown is the Unquestioned MacGyver of Buffing!

No doubt, I saw where he made a rotary buffer with a paper clip, some chewing gum, and a hair pin.
