I have a desperate desire to own an Austin Healey 3000, and I'm always drawn to the Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing from the late '50s, but below are two cars that have impacted me like no other cars have:

1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Zagato Spider. This car just blew me away at Pebble Beach a few years ago. I could not stop staring at and it stopped me dead in my tracks every time I walked by it.

1937 Mercedes 540K Spezial Roadster - probably the most beautiful car I've ever seen.

Otherwise, I'm good with almost any Enzo era Ferrari, Aston Martins, Lancias and Alfa Romeos from the '50s and '60s, or a throwback to my hometown roots; an orange and black 1970 T/A Challenger with a 340 6-pack and a 4 speed trans.

I dearly love the El Camino in my garage (see avatar), but having wrenched on outlaw Sprint Car for the last 25 years, my dream car would be a Kurtis Kraft 500, the streetable version of the very successful Kurtis Kraft Indy cars of the early to mid fifties.

High school in the 70's....1962 Rambler Classic. Push button transmission. Fold flat "sleeper seating".
Maybe not a collector car, but it was a "classic".
Think all the Polaroids and Instamatics have all faded out, so no photos.

Sorry everyone--posting photos is challenging for me.

If anyone feels led to delete my previous two posts, feel free.
