Another sunny Saturday, another group of enthusiasts eager to learn about car care!
Oh, and a little Scion tC eager to be cleaned up!
Following the classroom segment, the first task is claying the finish to remove above surface contaminants.
We then did our standard foam pads and Ultimate Compound/Polish/Wax on one section and the DA Microfiber Correction System on another.
Out in the sunshine to evaluate the results.
Swirls in the upper half of the image, none in the lower half. In this case, both the foam pads/Ultimate Trio removed the swirls as easily as the DAMF System did, so it's probably a good idea overall to stick with more traditional methods on this car. Why use the more aggressive process if you don't need to?
Gloss and metallic flakes, just as it should be!
Time to turn the students loose on the car.
Watch that pad angle!!!!!
Keep pressure directly over the pad, but don't go crazy with it!
