  • Tire/Rim/Wheel cleaner safe on Painted Plastic Wheel covers?

    Hello All,

I was curious what OTC product would be best for cleaning wheels that have plastic wheel covers, and the black painted steel wheels opposed to actual "Rims." I am primarily looking at the hot rims wheel cleaners, I am not sure which one will be safe for the tire+the plastic wheels? I really also want something that is a 2 in 1 tire/wheel combo. If there is another suggestion you have I am open to it, thanks!

The product you're looking for is Hot Rims Wheel & Tire Cleaner in the purple bottle. Just be sure to always clean one wheel/tire combo at a time, start to finish, and you'll be fine. Never spray all four wheels and then go back to the first one and start agitating and rinsing.
