  • Detailed my 2014 Venza

Seeing all these great pictures tonight made me want to throw some pictures out of my recent detail of my Attitude Black Metallic Venza out there. I should have saved the pictures just a little bit larger to show off the metallic flake in the paint but if you look hard enough you can see it. Still haven't gotten a chance to use my new DA but hope to this fall for a good polish and wax before winter.

Thanks for all the help over the past few months!

Yes, that is from uploading to the server. I started doing that after reading the how to post pictures and not using a service like Photobucket like I have been doing for years but always end up getting dead links eventually. The way that they recommend isn't anymore work and seems to avoid the dead links.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

                  Re: Detailed my 2014 Venza

Actually all that was from just maintenance. That was just UQW.

My original regiment from about a month and a half shortly after we bought it was

                  1. Wash Megs Gold Class
                  2. Clay Megs kit
                  3. UP
                  4. ULW

Ever since I have been hitting it with UQD or UQW after washes with minimal drying. I have been able to use the leaf blower technique and that is getting most of the water off and then QD or QW is doing the rest. I am about out of that supply and getting ready to order gallon supplies in the Detailers/Mirror line and start to build up my supply. Still have plenty of UP and ULW so will wait on my order for that until I use that up a more.

My wife had it parked at her school along the sidewalk the other day getting ready for back to school so not alot of cars. Apparently some kids were mowing and they scratched the drivers door. She didn't see it but that is the only way we can think it happened. Went down pretty good. Not to the metal but into the clear pretty good. I got the DA out and used some UC and worked it for a bit. If you didn't know it was there you won't see it, but I still know it is there I guess it had to happen sooner or later. I didn't want to work at it too much since I am new to using the DA and UC and didn't want to make things worse than they were.
