  • 1978 Fire Engine Detailing Advice Please...

    Good Afternoon All....

My son bought a complete working 1978 Fire Engine for a business venture that we want to detail later next month. I have not seen it in person, but I believe (based on age and what my son has said) it has single stage paint which overall is in very good shape but it does have some (minimal) oxidation. If it is indeed SS paint would M66 http://www.autodetailingsolutions.net/m6612.html be best to do the job of bringing back the paint without killing ourselves? I have all the necessary buffer/pads that we will be using, but would take recommendations to best pads to use on SS paint. It has been some years since I worked SS paint and was looking for advice.

Thanks for your help. It's good to be back.
