  • Sometimes you don't need to get all fancy

A Megs Quick interior winter detail on my 13 Charger, too cold to wash and we don't go to the auto swirl. Megs Quick Interior Detailer is one awesome and versatile product. Cleans better than you think and leaves a natural shine and feel with a pleasant smell.

    Vacuumed interior
Blasted mats with water, scrubbed, final wipe with QID
Scrubbed carpets with QID and carpet brush
QID on Leather seats, panels, glass, and NAV screen
Several medium and ultra plush MF towels

Nice work! Not too fancy in the process used, and the Quick Interior Detailer left the interior surfaces looking clean without the shiny, oily and sticky looking finish. I've always been curious about the Quick Interior Detailer.

QID is an interesting product - you initially think about it as just being a nice way to lightly clean the interior surfaces, removing dust and fingerprints, and that's about it. Until you actually get to work with it, then things start to change pretty rapidly. Old coffee or soda stains in the center console seem to melt away with a generous dose of QID and a microfiber towel. It's great for stripping interior dressings that ended up being a bit glossier than you might have expected. And all the while it leaves a clean, fresh appearance and some nice UV screening. What's not to love?

Hmm.. Interesting.. and very tempting! But I also have to ask, if I use a product (Ok, maybe a product that is designed for leather, vinyl and rubber) regularly, wouldn't it make products like megs quick interior detailer a bit redundant? I mean, if I regularly use the leather, vinyl and rubber protectant/conditioner very very sparingly, wouldn't it be superior to the interior detailer? Please convince me, you (all you who have used the interior detailer), you have no idea how close I am to getting myself one..

And got myself some interior detailer. I find it's more of a "mild deep cleaner", my car has a light colored interior and therefore, has a few stains here and there. This quite easily removed the stains, on dark surfaces though, doesn't really add any sort of gloss. Smells alright, not that strong, but the product itself does leave a very faint but clean smell.

I love the stuff. I have been using the OTC version until recently when I bought some in the detailers line. I didn't know it was safe for screens until I read that in the detailers line description. Speaking of which, I need to clean. Lots of finger prints, lol. Looks great op.

Honestly, I can't say I really like this, but it's early days (or hours), so far I'm liking it. I've been trying this on certain stains and surfaces. So far, I'm liking this product especially on light colored interiors which my car has.
