    Are these 2 different?

    Yes, M26 is a pure wax (Carnauba, a couple of polymers, etc.), no polishing oils or cleaners. Gold Class Carnauba is a polish wax, meaning it is a basically a carnauba wax with polymers as well, but it has polishing oils, these oils help a lot in adding that depth and shine we all want especially on dark or warm colors.

        OK Thanks. So I can use "Pure" wax on fresh paint, right? So a process for black car that just came out of the paint shop would beIt was detailed including clay before it went to shop. It just had a couple of panels painted for rock chips and scratches)
        1. Wash with Mc car wash/shampoo
        2. Ultimate Polish or M7
        3. Sealant (Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax??)
        4. Finish with Gold Class Carnuba
        Thanks for all the help. I am trying to get it ready to Show, first time for me and the car

          You must not wax fresh paint for 30 days to allow for curing.
          M7 may not be needed. Its more for SS paint.
          Polish with UP if you like then go straight to your sealant and wax.

          I have black paint also and use the following
          UP with finish pad. The softer the better
          M21
          M26 apply 12 hrs after M21
          Extreme Radiance Detailing

              Exactly. Allow the paint to cure and outgas before you apply any wax or sealant. You are asking for trouble if you seal it right away. You can use M7 temporarily but it will last a few washes. It's pure polishing oils and offers no protection. Also be careful with detail sprays that have wax or some sort of protection to them and spray waxes.

                Stupid question, what is "SS" paint?

                  SS paint is single stage, meaning unlike most of today's cars have a base (color) coat and a clear coat. Basically, the clear gives the gloss and in a way, protects the base coat from UV and oxidation, unlike single stage paints where the color coat is already designed to give the gloss.

                  If I might add since I also had experience dealing with freshly painted surfaces (thanks to my driving skills and others as well!), I would use a regular wax-free car shampoo, I would also use "regular" quick detailers (the original megs qd or last touch) while the paint is curing.

                      Re: Difference in M26 and Gold Class Carnuba?

                      I am suffering from information overload on Show Car detailing. As I have said, I have a 2006 Lexus Hardtop Convertible that has a very dark Metallic Mica Granite, heavy on the Metallic. I have consolidated the info and I think these are a few of the processes':
                      1. Ultimate Polish
                      2. M-21
                      3. M-26 (12 hours after M-21
                      4. Gold Class Carnauba Plus Wax
                      =============================
                      1. Ultimate Polish
                      2. M-21
                      3. M-26 (at least 12 hours after the M-21)
                      =============================
                      1. Deep Crystal Polish or M7 (I have both in stock)
                      2. Deep Crystal Carnauba wax
                      3. Gold Class Plus Carnauba wax
                      ==============================================
                      Will either of the above processes provide the wet looking show car shine? If not, what process do you use? I have all of the products mentioned, I just need a good process.

                              Agreed. Your 1st and 3rd options have redundant steps (two carnauba waxes) and there's just no good reason to do that.
