Compressed air to remove dust, then QD instaed of washing

The car needs washing because of dust in a garage, no road use. The car has a two month or so dust build up cycle before a wash. If I blow the dust off with compressed air a QD might get the job done.

Anyone with a compressed air source taken this short cut before?

    Thanks

    Yep, I've done it before.

It works well if you blow the car off outside, and then pull it into the garage to QD...

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

I have tried the compressed air route however found that it just blows the dust around or picks up more from the floor. What not invest in a California Duster? Amazing tool for dusting and, contrary to some, it will NOT scratch or swirl your paint if used correctly. I have used mine for several years on two black vehicles, and nary a scratch or swirl.
