  • What do you wish Meguiars would make?

I would love to see Meguiars make a wheel and tire brush, and possibly a body brush. Oh and dont forget about an air freshner that smells just like supreme shine interior protectant. (Hint, Hint)

We've moved this to the "New Product Suggestions" section of MOL.

So let us ask you; where the heck were you when we had a full line of excellent quality brushes that ranged from wheel and tire brushes, body brushes, adjustable detailing brushes, etc??? OK, that was intended to be in good fun, so please take that in the spirit it which it was intended! But, yep, we had them several years back but they met with limited success in the marketplace, mostly due to their price. They were definitely premium tools, but the price was a bit of a premium as well and the general consuming public just wasn't quite ready for them. Now, if only we could clone folks like you who appreciate such things, we'd be able to create our own market!!

I wish Gold Class Quik Detailer would be updated to include carnauba wax the way UQD has synthetic wax in it. I didn't think it was fair it takes me twice as long to detail my car as someone who chooses to use the ultimate line of products so I took a half empty bottle of GCQD and filled it GCQW. It works mint and when I went to the first car show this year there was a car identical to mine, same year and all; but I could tell the owner used synthetic wax on it. When the trophies were given out my car got one and its twin didn't. I believe the carnauba gave my car the winning edge.
Mike if you did this you could call it Gold Class Supreme Quik Detailer so there wouldn't be any confusion with the Ultimate line

        I wish Meguiars would make...

A tire specific AIO cleaner and dressing. No high gloss. Just a nice a natural matte clean shine.

This is for us folks who mostly do rinseless or waterless washes and hate pulling out the hose to scrub and clean tires.

A coating (for the rest of the world other than Asia)

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Ceramic coatings seem to be all the rage. I recently tried a ceramic coating and am very impressed with the results. I wish Meguiars would dive into this product and provide some honest critique of this product. I trust Meguiars to always be honest in their evaluations of other products.

Reboot Scratch X, and Swirl X, and combine them with NXT 2.0. This to take the place of the Ultimate line, which would be moved to the Detailer line where it would be available in 32, 64, 128oz UC/UP, 64oz ULW, and secondary labels for 16oz pour off bottles.

When rebooting Swirl X, thin out the formula a bit, so it's not so resistant to dispersal.

Tone down, or change all together the D166 odor. It's nauseating. This could have also been a good candidate for an "Ultimate Cleaner Wax"..

A coating that would create crazy, intense beading (for those that need to see that), that would instantly roll off the paint (because getting water off the paint is healthiest for the finish). Think freshly applied Zymol Carbon wax. It sort of does this, but doesn't have anywhere near the strength of a sealant, let alone a coating. The coating should last a decade, and be applied via a trigger bottle, wiped on, wiped off like a Quick Wax.

Smaller 3.5"- 4" thin foam discs to match the 5" and 6" that are available now.

A 'tinted' tire coating like TW Jet Black Endura Shine Coating.

It's basically wipe on and walk away and is quite durable - more so than water based dressings.

Some form of winter degreaser (but it might exist already?)

What would you want to see Meguiar's make?

A spray on clear coat self healer.
Spray it on and give it 48 hours in the garage, to soften the clear coat to allow it to fill in the minor cracks and abrasions.
Then it should set up and harden the clear coat again.

Maybe not today. Yet possibly in our futures.
