    I am DavdK and will try to make this simple . we live in florida and I can not put my car in the garage so it needs to be waxed a lot to keep the clear coat looking okay. can paint protect be put over the meguiar's wax that says clear coat safe??

    Welcome to MOL.

    Sure you can put it over wax. It's longevity may not be as advertised as it's intended to be used as a stand alone product. By how much is hard to say.

      So there's already a wax on there and you want to now apply PP? How long ago was the wax applied and what was it?

      Or did you want to wax first, then PP? You can do that, but if anything, people do it the other way around...
