  • Hello from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia

Thank you for allowing me to register. I've been using Meguiar's products for years now. I've never had a new car before and I'm picking up a brand new Nissan Armada tomorrow. I want to make sure the vehicle continues to look better than new for the life of it. I've been researching waxes and acrylic paint conditioners, and it looks like the paint conditioners are the way to go. What does Meguiar's have/suggest for this process? Thanks!

        Welcome to Meguiar's Online.

Meguiar's Waxes which are full synthetic polymer based (technically sealants), are more durable, longer lasting, and better protecting than our Carnauba based offerings. Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0, Ultimate Liquid & Paste Wax, Paint Protect, and Meguiar's M21 Synthetic Sealant, are all full synthetics, and are all great products for a new car.

Meguiar's recommends applying all of our waxes at least 3 - 4 times a year, and at best every 2 or 3 months, with the exception of Meguiar's Paint Protect which lasts over 52 car washes. Of course there are many variables which contribute to how long a wax protectant will last, storage of the vehicle, preparation work on paint before applying product, maintenance techniques and frequency, but following our minimum recommendations for application frequency, will ensure you have even coverage & protection.

New here....starting looking for on-line info and found this website!
I feel wecome and am psyched for learning from "those who have gone before". I will definitely benefit from what's already out there and some specific info from whoever can bring me along when mentioning issues not previously dealt with......how many can that really be...
New to this subject matter. I'll love some responses after uploading pics to the right forum. My DD is a white 2000 Honda Accord sedan v6 with 132,000 miles and spoiler.
Great car BUT it needs a wee bit of tlc.

Nice to have a Hokie on MOL! Welcome Rob. I have a Hokie in Sophomore year there now.

To your question, and in agreement with Nicolas above, my favorite is Meguiar's #21 Synthetic Sealant. Happy waxing!
