  • Headlight Protectant application

A foam applicator or a microfiber towel works fine. Remember a little product goes a long way. It's a wipe on wipe off type of product from my experience using it.

Also it's been recommended to reapply every 6-8 weeks.

      Really?

In that case, you'd be better off applying a sealant like Ultimate Wax.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Yeah that is what Stoops has posted about it.

        Here is the main thread

Another option if the product does dry on the headlight is to simply re-apply and wipe off. We also recommend re-applying every 6-8 weeks to ensure even coverage.

          Re: Headlight Protectant application

In the case of protection for headlights, we would recommend our Headlight Protectant as it is designed specifically for clear plastics, as opposed to a wax or sealant which is designed for paint. Meguiar's waxes and sealants are OK to use on headlights, but are just not going to be as good of protection.

              Re: Headlight Protectant application

I put a nickel sized amount of the product on the corner of a clean microfiber towel and quickly spread/massage it into the headlight. Then quickly turn the towel over to a clean side and buff the excess off.

It tends to dry very quickly so you want to work kind of fast in order to prevent any streaks or residue. I like using it every month or so on the new Kia.

                I applied it today

i put a small amount in a microfiber towel.I spread it slowly all over the headlight doing circles.
I left it like that a bit and than i buffed it with a clean microfiber towel !
