Hello everyone.
Been browsing forums for a while but first post now that I'm about to get a bit more into this. As some background my wife and I are originally from TX but we moved to Florida for her dream of working for Disney. She was making wedding cakes out of the Grand Floridian bakery when she got pregnant with our daughter who will be 2 in June. In the mean time I found a job close by working as a process engineer for a citrus juice processing plant. You all are welcome for the Simply Orange juice by the way.
Anyway, as part of my job, we work 12 hour shifts so I don't always have a ton of free time and with other commitments my car has seen better days. I can't even say how this interest came about but I spend quite a bit of time reading and learning more about keeping our cars looking good now. My wife did say I needed a hobby.
Hopefully I can continue to learn more and try to slowly make the needed corrections to my car which holds quite a bit of sentiment to me. Plenty of people tell me "it's just a honda" but to me it's more. It was the first car I shopped for and bought myself, as well as being a way of memorializing graduating college from Colorado School of Mines. So even though it's been through the ringer in its life, I feel that I should start treating it a lot better considering how well it has treated me for the 142000+ miles.
