When Charlie sets out to do someting, the result is going to be no less than PRO LEVEL!

Once again this, undoubtedly hits the mark, and advances way past it.

This is a great resource, recounting the evolution of many of the most widely used liquids and machines in the industry.

    C. Charles Hahn thank you for all of the hours you poured into this (in just the pics alone I know there were many!!!!). This is definitely something to be long lived, providing a great resource for all those who find and read it!

As i said before, its so damn cool!

To echo Professor Von Schtoops' words, Charlie is definitely a valuable asset who helped NXT East run like a well oiled machine, both behind the scenes and in the classroom!

Great review Charlie, love that you went into the history and not just what the new products can do.

This is a very nice review. I've been wanting to upgrade to one of these from my Harbor Freight DA. At least I upgraded the backing plate and pads to Meguiars, and there's already a huge jump in quality!

Outstanding, just simply an OUTSTANDING article!

Reading this, is it any wonder I've been pretty much a "system" guy for 50+ years?

Thank you very much for doing this Charlie.

Thank you all for the comments! I'm glad to see folks are enjoying the article and getting something out of it.

As I mentioned to Kevin Brown in a conversation on Facebook, I think there are a lot of people who are newer to the industry that have had little (if any) exposure to some of the older technologies that were commonly used in the past, so it was/is my hope that seeing the progression over time would give a better appreciation of just how good we all have it now... and for those of us who have been around a while, a walk down memory lane is always fun.

Excellent description, Charlie. . Amazing information.

I have to say and agree with you to see the next update & mod for Megs MT300 coming soon. Looking forward to see it in SEMA2016 I hope. Also be nice if Megs can introduce new DA 12mm instead of 8mm with all the lessons learned from pervious and existing models.
