  • Paint Protect Discoloration

I was planning on putting another coat of paint protect on my car this weekend and noticed something unusual on the bottom of the bottle. It looks as if the product is settling and hardening at the bottom of the bottle. I tried flipping the bottle upside down and shaking it, but the product is still settled. Any idea what could've happened? Is it still fine to use? Thanks in advance.

I will have to check mine later. How was the product stored? Did it see extreme temp changes?

It was stored inside of my garage in a steel cabinet. I did leave it in the garage over the course of winter.

My bottle has looked the same way for quite some time also.

Mine is like that too. Seems to perform ok.

Definitely give it a good shaking, as you would with any wax or polish that has been sitting for a while, but as long as the consistency of the product is normal you should be fine. When a product "goes bad" it is pretty easy to identify something is wrong.

I just looked at mine today. It has the same thing. It doesn't affect the performance of the product. A good shake and it's good to go.

Mine does that. I just shake it up until it is all mixed in.
