  • Wax on headlight lenses?

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows if applyinhg NXT liquid to headlight lenses (clear plastic kind on a new car) would give some nice protection and sheeting action or really srew things up. I know of course, to keep it away from runner and black plastic, but was wondering about clear... what's the verdict?

NXT should do fine on the lenses. Another option would be to use plastx as it adds a layer of protection as well and is designed specifically for plastic.

Works fine on lenses, looks fine, and makes removing the bugs (here in Florida) an easy task. I also use NXT on glass/windows.

          Hey,

Using NXT Tech Wax on the headlight lenses should not be a problem. However, it would be a better idea to use a product designed for that exact purpose. As mentioned, Meguiar's PlastX works fantastic on headlights and tail-lights. If the lenses are new or like new, you could also use Meguiar's #10 Clear Plastic Polish and keep those lights looking brand new!!!

          Hope this helps!
