    Someone posted up a good deal on another forum, so I checked out their inventory. What is this? When did Meg's discontinue it? It says it "Cleans as it protects"... So is it like a pro paste cleaner/wax (I don't think there is one, just a consumer one in paste form)? I have #16, #26, and Souveran in paste form. Do I need this paste wax?

    Hi Aurora40,

    This was simply a paste cleaner/wax somewhat like the M-0616 Cleaner/Wax.

    Some people prefer a liquid and some prefer a paste. One benefit to a paste is when your working on vertical panels, it won't run off, or down the panel.

    One benefit to a liquid version of a cleaner wax, it's easier to push the chemical cleaners, and polishing oils into the pores where the chemical cleaners can go to work cleaning and the oils can rejuvenate the paint.

    With pastes cleaner waxes, you have to work them a little more than a liquid. Not too important on a finish in pretty good shape, but a neglected finish may clean up easier with a liquid.

    Also, liquids are easier to use by machine. I have a couple of cans of the old M-1914 around. I really like the old cans. They make good containers for nuts and bolts and other knick knacks after they're empty. Nice construction, nice colors and graphics if you ask me.

      Cool, glad it's a cleaner/wax. I don't need to buy any more stuff... I have very little interest in cleaner/waxes. Thanks for the info!
