  • fast finish and tech wax 2.0 together?

im thinking of using a coat of each on a truck im getting ready to detail. im wondering if they are compatible first i don't see why they wouldn't be.

so assuming they are should i???

use the fast finish first then top it with the tech wax? or,

tech wax first, allow to cure, then fast finish on top?

the fast finish is a great product, i used it on my fathers truck, my rims, then it was so good (and easy to apply) i had to use it as a topper on my suv. congrats on another great product!

    The description reads like this
Meguiar's most advanced paint protecting formula
Technologically advanced, innovative, synthetic polymer coating provides relentless water beading protection wash after wash*
    Protects for a full year!*
Meguiar's fastest & easiest way to protect a paint finish, simply spray on & wipe off
Use by itself or even on top of wax to extend protection.
*Lab tested durability over 100 wash cycles using a pH balanced car wash

Personally I would use it the same way ( on top of wax of choice ) this way you get the look you want from the wax then lock it in essentially.

      MicrofiberMan,

Glad to hear you are liking and having good results with our new Ultimate Fast Finish! I actually wrote up an article with some information on the different ways Ultimate Fast Finish can be used. It is located here Using Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish.

UFF can also be applied first, allowed to cure, and then your favorite wax can be applied afterwards, as you have indicated. So there is really 3 ways, in place of a wax(since it is a protectant), on top of your wax to "lock in" those results, or applied first after your polishing process, and the topped with your favorite liquid or paste.
