Mirror Bright Polishing Wax, Meg's thin five inch burgundy disc and water spots

For what it's worth. By using Polishing Wax and a five inch thin burgundy disc on my ancient 7424 Porter Cable, I was able to remove Type 1/ Type 2 water spots on my wife's 2015 white Tacoma. I used setting 5 on the PC in some places. It worked so well that I did the whole truck using this combination with the PC mostly on setting 4. The truck is looking mighty good....absolutely no hazing.

Thanks for sharing! It is so fun to use Cleaner/Waxes in an aggressive manner as a one step. It's funny you posted this, because I was just responding to another new thread from a user which had great success using our M66 Quick Detailer in an aggressive manner.

Thanks for sharing! It is so fun to use Cleaner/Waxes in an aggressive manner as a one step. It's funny you posted this, because I was just responding to another new thread from a user which had great success using our M66 Quick Detailer in an aggressive manner.

Hey guys, bit of a thread revival.
I've just bought the mirror bright kit in the lovely case. I was planning on using the liquid polishing wax on my dads car.

The reason for my post is; seeing as the polishing wax is quite versatile with forum members reporting using it with different foam pads (black, yellow and red foam).
Is the MB polishing wax a similar product to D301? I know D301 has light to no abrasives, so I was wondering how MB polishing wax compares.

Could I use a finishing microfiber pad with MB Polishing wax in a similar way that D301 is designed to be used with a mf finishing pad. Ie, could/would this give me a similar level of cut and finish to D301 with a MF finishing disc? The reason I ask is because I have some new Megs finishing MF discs lying about.

Mirror Bright Polishing Wax is an abrasive All In One (AIO) that is quite versatile. Like most abrasive AIO's, it can be used with a variety of pads. The test spot is always your friend. D166 is another example of being versatile with various pads.

Mirror Bright Polishing Wax is more of a sealant than a wax so it will last longer than D301.
