Looking for some guidance, I was detailing my SUV yesterday when I noticed a small cluster of white dots on a section of the roof. I always keep a coat of wax on my ride and wash it once a week. When I run my finger over it, it feels like bumps as if there is contanmenents in the paint. My thoughts were using the clay bar would correct but I figured I would ask some experts. I have a picture I can post, but I'm on my cell phone and don't see a place to post pictures on the thread. Appreciate any advice, thanks!

Re: White spots on paint
Hello,
A picture is really going to help us identify what is going on with the paint. It could be a variety of defects based on your description. Yes, uploading a picture can be easier from a regular computer. Feel free to contact me with any questions.Nick Winn

Re: White spots on paint
The pic is in your post. Since you can feel the spots, whatever they are, they're on top of the wax/paint. It's odd they're clustered together like that & a uniform size. Doesn't look like sap droppings from a tree even though it's spring. I'd try the clay as a first step.

Re: White spots on paint
Sorry I know this post is over a year old, but wanted to bring it back to see if anyone had any ideas? I got my vehicle detailed in the spring and those white dots are also on other areas of my vehicle. they were not able to be removed with buffing so I am wondering if this is a defect in the paint? my detailer said he has seen this on other dodge vehicles and they are know to have issues with the paint.
