There's a 3" backing plate, so when do we get the 3" pads?

Any chance that we'll get 3" versions of the wonderful thin maroon, yellow and black pads that we all love so much? There are plenty of places that I need a 3" pad or smaller, and I'd really like to keep all of my pads and backing plates the same brand.

I second the suggestion! Microfiber pads also, please! I just ordered 8 Lake Country small pads - would much prefer to have Meguiar's but I needed to have something.

I highly doubt the 3" microfiber pads will come back. They were recently discontinued due to poor sales. You will unfortunately have to look elsewhere for 3" microfiber pads.

Also the DA power system pads are 3" pads at the backing plate interface and flare out to about 4".

This is true, the DA Power System pads are still available for purchase and can be used on a DA Polisher w/ a 3 inch backing plate. The part numbers are G3509, G3508, & G3507.

This makes good sense. The reason I had hope is because someone very well known in this industry (not a Meg's employee but quite trustworthy) suggested otherwise. I'm happy to tell you who in PM. But, I already have been using LC MF 3" pads, just figured I'd throw another mention out for 3" MF pads.

I do hope they make a come back. 3" foam pads similar to the foam discs would be great. The burgundy foam disc is a great pad on most machines.

I tend to cut the larger pads after so many uses into 3" pads.

If you decide to launch 3" foam pads please make them exactly like the 5" foam discs.

I'd love to have 3" thin foam, and a return of the microfiber!

I recently was looking to add some 3" pads to my arsenal and would have been great if the same line as the thin disks was available. I ended up going with LC pads but they offer a gazillion of different foams. Like to keep things simple

some 3" foam discs and some 5" discs would have been ideal as I am already familiar with the colors

I recently contemplated buying new Lake County 5" pads because I'd prefer to have all of the same brand and foam for all of my pads, and I'm looking to buy a 3" orbital (and LC makes pads in a bunch of smaller sizes, too). I decided to continue buying the 5" Meguiar's thins because they work so well, and just continue to cross my fingers that we see 3" thins from Megs soon.
