    I have a new silver F150. I'm looking for either a wax or sealant. Guys I talked to, at the dealership including the shop. Said not to use a sealant but rather a wax. Our summers are mild, but our winters are wet, with a wintery mix. What's best protection for my locale. Previously, all my work trucks were white & company owned. I ran them through the local car wash with wax...

    Hi JG Way,

    It is tough to say exactly what products the guys at the dealer are referring to. I can tell you that Meguiar's makes products we would categorize as "sealants" and in general, our sealants are synthetic based waxes. They actually offer more protection & durability than our Carnauba based Waxes.

    For your case of being in an area with wet winters, we would recommend using a synthetic based product. Currently Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish is our most advanced, best protecting synthetic based wax. More information on this product can be referenced at the following below links:
