  • Detailing a crane

I have a company that wants me to give them a quote to buff out and wax a crane. And I'm at a loss on what to charge. Any suggestions?

Charge by the foot. That's how people handle RVs and the like. I would ask to see it and then imagine how you will be able to access all of the surface area both to clean and then to polish/wax. Sounds like a job for D166.

I was thinking something like $1000. Does that sound to low maybe more like $1500. The paint is in bad shape they have been using a harsh degreaser to wash it and the paint is very faded. They were thinking about just repainting the truck. And even $1500 is cheaper then repainting.
