  • Which pads?

So i bought a MT310 (its called that in sweden). Costed a lot lol (about $500)

Havn't bought any pads yet, mainly because i don't know what to go for. Most easy would be to buy the "standard" foam ones. Makes even more sense consider i have: UC, UP and ULW.

However... the microfiber ones seems very tempting, but then i have to buy those and the correction compund that are for them (if am not mistaken?)

UC works great with microfiber pads! No need for the D300 if you don't want to buy it.

Also, D300 works great with foam pads..

On Amazon I only see the MT300 for sale....at a little over $200.
Is that the same as the foreign MT310 model ?

The different pads/discs we produce for Dual Action Polisher machines are essentially just different "tools in the toolbox." If you are only applying cleaner/wax with your dual action polisher and nothing else, then you would probably only need our Soft Buff Yellow Foam Polishing Disc. If you are trying master paint correction & detailing with a dual action polisher machine, in my opinion, then you would want every single pad we make for a DA. Furthermore, what will sky rocket your skills is then gaining lots of experience with all of the pads/discs we make on lots of different cars. Once this is achieved, you will now have experience in the different responses that certain pads & liquids can produce, and then when you run into a situation on a car & paint that doesn't respond normally, "how it should" or "by the book", you can have the experience to remember that "this certain pad/liquid provided me this and I think I can benefit from that combination for this situation." Hope that makes sense got a little carried away there.

At the same time, if you are not trying to be a professional paint polisher, our Soft Buff DA Foam Discs (Cutting, Polishing, Finishing) are absolutely the first discs you should buy. If you are looking to get more cut, then the next addition would be our DA Microfiber Cutting Disc. By the way in case you did not know, we recommend using the 5 inch size for our MT300/MT310 for best performance.

        Hope this helps!

        Nick

I for sure know what am going for now.

I did my car last year (clay, UC, UP, ULW and topped it off with UFF). The car hadn't seen any love since new (2002). Had a different machine then. I was happy, but i wanted to take it up a next step. get some more scratches out and so on. However, am not aming for perfection. My motto is as always "Better then before". If i can see a difference then before am happy.

Once again thank you Nick, i go for the standard DA foam (red/yellow) i like to put wax on by hand. however i might try it with machine this time
