        Hi there,

Just curious as to why you are asking because there are many many many variables that go into the make up an individual pad.

I know something about polishing pads technology like ppi, compresion, rebound etc. but those parametres are not so much of my interest.
I was asking about open/closed cell foam because I want to use them with other polishing pastes also so that info will be usefull to know especially when decision is between SMAT and DAT.
Also suppose that is not proprietary info so you can speak about it in public.

DFC, DFP and DFF are open cell construction, but keep in mind, all 3 of them work with our traditional DAT well as our newer SMAT abrasives.

              Mike

I already use yours 105/205 and from time to time your consumer Ultimate compound and Ultimate polish which are all SMAT ones.
I do not know about yours DAT ones - curious?

Re: DFC, DFP and DFF open or closed cell?

We have utilized DAT abrasives since the beginning of our company for the advantages they offer.

However, with advancements in technology, most of our newer products that contain abrasives do contain SMAT.

If you are working with 105/205 and our Ultimate Line and they are working well, stick to em
