  • Is this fixable or re paint?

So this is a 1999 ford mustang cobra. Its been sitting out in the sun for a few years. I washed it, clay barred it. I compound buffed the hood and roof using m105 and my mt300 DA polisher. It appears the scratches or cracks in paint are under the clear coat. Is there are way to remove these or does the car require re paint?

That is clear coat fracturing which is a form of clear coat failure. The only fix is a repaint.

That's what I feared. I buffed using 105, made it stand out more, did not get rid of any of them. Thanks for the reply

        Agreed, unfortunately.
