Inflicting intentional damage

Quick question for everyone!

I have a sample hood from a local body shop that I have split into sections to show all the different kind of clear coat damage and then hang it in my shop to better display to people what they have going on with their paint.

So far I have the basics like water spots, swirls, buffer trails, unfixable scratching and acid etching.

I want to try and add a section of oxidation or clear coat peeling/fracturing but not sure how I could induce something like that and make it appear believable. Any suggestions on how to encourage natural deterioration of the clear fairly quickly?

Guessing but maybe a heat lamp on it until the desired effect is achieved?

Can't give any advise about how to 'weather' the hood, BUT that is one great idea!

Showing the customer the various types of 'injury' is really smart marketing.

My only thought would be to intentionally sand through the clear coat, say with 3000 grit via DA. It may not replicate natural clear coat failure but it is the closest I can think of to get that look quickly.
