That all depends on who does the work. A cheap shop or a high end shop. You might wish to ask the shop who did the painting. I did, when I had a fender, and two doors repaired from a T bone accident. The shop told me it was ok to wax when ever I wanted to because their system not only uses chemical paint hardeners, but also baked it for additional hardness. As a matter of fact, he waxed the three panels for me before I picked the car up. Looked terrific three months ago, still does.Comment

Does it apply to alloy wheels? I had a small curb rash repaired & the tech told me to not wax for 30 days. Maybe I should wait 60 days? I plan to use ULW.Comment

I would tend to follow the tech's advice. They know their paint and curing times. If you want to wait 60 or 200 days, that is up to you, although I see no reason to wait longer than 30 days.Comment
