I understand the fear of polishing a new car but in the grand scheme of things it is not going to harm the paint. Many new vehicles suffer from DISO (Dealer Installed Swirl Option) and often require correction. Polishing will give the most gloss followed by your choice in protection whether it is a wax or sealant. A sealant will last longer (NXT, M21, Ultimate Wax, Ultimate Fast Finish).

If you are just looking to add some shine then a simple clay and protect option may be what you are looking for as above surface contaminants build up on the car as it is delivered to the dealer and while it sits on the dealer lot. As I mentioned their are cleaner waxes that do all three in one step yet. Something like D166 and Mirror Bright Polishing Wax fall within this category. I would have recommended white wax but that has been discontinued.

    thanks a lot Nick
i have read the 5 step paint care cycle article
as i figured,i need a claying product in addition of white wax or D166 or Mirror Bright Polishing Wax.
    which plan do you recommend?
Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit should work great to remove any above surface contaminants & make the paint completely smooth.

Are you working by hand or machine? If by hand either our White Wax or Mirror Bright Polishing Wax. White Wax is more aggressive, Mirror Bright Polishing Wax is more durable than White Wax. BTW White Wax is discontinued, but there still should be quite a bit in circulation. Both great products, the discontinue of the product has nothing to do with the performance, likely there is just not enough demand for us to produce anymore.

Wash, Clay, cleaner/wax of some sort, then Wax is a great quick detail... I'm pretty sure you will see great results, even on white.

If you want to top it, just apply the Cleaner/Wax you choose, work it in a little, then let it dry and remove. Try to wait a little bit... maybe an hour, then apply a coat of a regular wax like Ult. Wax, Gold Class, etc.. let dry and remove.

            i'm really confused
i have made my decision, Smooth Surface Clay Kit in addition of White Wax
afterwards what is your opinion to top it? a Gold Class Carnauba wax is needed?

It is not required to top White Wax or any of our waxes. Any product of our which states it is a "wax" has protection. Some users will "top" a coat of wax with another, to try to add more gloss or protection. You are welcome to do that if you would like, but not necessary.

Ultimate Wax is our top tier, full synthetic polymer based wax. This would be my recommendation if you wanted to "top" any cleaner wax that is being used.

Re: Wax for white car....help me

                my plan is:
                Wash
                Smooth Surface Clay Kit
                White Wax

as my goal is glossy paint and high reflection so as a conclusion which is the best? Ultimate Wax or Gold Class Carnauba paste Wax?

The main purpose of topping with Ultimate Wax would be added protection. You are going to achieve a high gloss & reflection from the White Wax. You may or may not notice more gloss from adding Ultimate Wax, since you have already applied White Wax. Again, the main purpose of topping with Ultimate Wax would be for added protection. Again, not a required step. White Wax has good durability.
