Mothers black to black tire renew or Meguiars endurance?

So the tires have turn brown. Looking for something to fix it. Seen some reviews on Mothers tire renew wich looks great. Am after a not so glossy finish but i need to wash the brown away first. Here is where Mothers product looked great. It cleaned the brown away and in the same process made the tires natural black again. So its a 2 in 1 product.

Does the endurance do the same? or do i need something to first clean the brown away then apply the endurance?

I need (read want) a easy one step process. Am not after so much gloss, am after the natrual look of the tires so they look like new again

These are two different products. Mothers is a tire cleaner and Endurance is a tire dressing. Endurance has no cleaning properties. You can follow up with endurance after the tire cleaner. Cleaning the tire prior to applying some sort of tire product will also aid in it's longevity.

Hmm, i see. Is there a similiar procuct for Meguiars like Mothers then? "Hot rims all wheel cleaner" for example? I just want a one step product

Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner is a wheel and tire cleaner. No protection left behind. There is nothing wrong using the combination you have together. You can control the amount of gloss from endurance by using a microfiber towel to lightly wipe the tire. This will knock the shine down and also ensure there is no tire sling.

Perhaps Hot Shine Tire foam maybe something you are looking for.

Am after a product that cleans the brown away and gives it protection and a shine like new (not glossy). Thought Meguiars had the same thing.

If not, they need to come up with a thing like this:

I've used the products you have and I will say that the mothers tire renew is a cleaner with no protectant or tire dressing left behind. So what you are seeing is just a clean natural tire. All Wheel and Tire Cleaner will do the same thing with the addition of being a wheel cleaner. It is a little stronger than the mothers tire cleaner. So if you don't like to put anything on your tires then just keep cleaning them to keep them from turning brown. If you like to add something then you can follow up with the tire dressing of your choice.

Hot Shine Tire Spray is a tire dressing like Endurance.

All good tires have a chemical in them, that "blooms" to the surface. This is to protect the tires from degrading in the sun and ozone. Unfortunately that chemical is the brown stuff you see, I used to use Endurance (good stuff) but being lazy I now use a different brand of tire spray foam. Spray all four tires in the time it would take to put Endurance on one tire. Spray and walk away. Come back and the tires have a lovely black matte finish.

Thats kinda what i was aiming for A easy 2 in 1 solution. I have Goodyear efficientgrip performance and they get really brown. With a black car and black rims it kinda looks a bit "nah" with brown tires


As a sidenote, keep in mind that Meguiars products in Sweden are quite expensive. A bottle endurance costs me $16,50 Hot rims wheel cleaner $15,96 So it not like a can buy one just to try. Everytime it comes to Meguiars products i have to be sure. Mothers products costs less

Check out Meguiar's Professional Mirror Glaze #40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner if you are looking for a stock, low sheen, original appearance. Does not last as long as a dedicated tire shine, but does provide a nice low sheen original appearance. Our Mirror Bright Vinyl & Rubber Treatment will also provide the same look. We typically will apply with a soft foam applicator like our W0004.

That looked really good, and just what i might need. Downside is that it seems hard to get hold off, since its a "professional" product. Meguiars swedish webstore dosent list it. I could call them them but i got thrown out of the Facebook group for helping a guy sorting some issue he had, and since the thing i recommended wasnt Meguiars i was banned. (funny consider they use Rupes machines instead of Meguiars MT300 in shows etc lol).

Do any of the Meguiar's tire/rubber products help protect the tires from weather/ozone cracking?
With tires now having roughly just 6 to 10 years of life after their "tire birth date", reducing that aging can have a payback.

Nah Meguiars Sweden are like the cool kids at school. My fiancee can read, so sometimes i log on to hers and read but. That group isn't for me. Yesterday i read that the "new" thing there is to use "Wash plus" as a polish with DA machine.

I can get my Meguiars products from other suppliers in Sweden. And am a member of a car care forum (with some strong connections to Meguiars ) 27 000 members, everyone is welcomed. All brands, everyone helps from real pros to newbies, nobody pretend they are better then the person next to you. Just like it should be
