I bought some Dr Colorchip for the big white spots, which are rock chips, but the smaller specs - are those something for Diamond Cut 2.0 + cutting pad?

This is on a 2013 Mercedes

A compound may diminish the appearance of some of those defects but do not expect them or try to complete remove them. It appears to be road "rash'" which can be a pretty severe defect.

Polish before you use the Dr ColorChip. If you bought the paint repair kit that wipes over the surface of the paint (verses trying to fill each and every chip with a brush/pen), any micro chips should be filled in with the paint solution. Between the two efforts you should look much better.

Agreed, polish/compound prior to any touch up paint system.
