  • Bleaching bug etchings?

My wife has a white Jeep Cherokee. Unfortunately the car went too long before I got to give it a good cleaning and the bugs left their permanent marks. Looks like a bunch of little, light gray spots. I used Megs Bug and Tar remover, clay bar, and Ultimate Polish. Still there. I really don't want to break out the compound at this point, as it is her dd. Is there anything that can bleach these to make them less visible, or are we just stuck with them?

I'd try the Ult Compound, at least by hand real quick...

UC or #105 are pretty good stain removers in my experience.

Well darn. Was hoping to not have to break out the UC. Thanks!

Well, stain removal by hand is just wiping around a bit hopefully..
