  • My Spit Shine

    [IMG][/IMG]

Finally finished with the UP & ULW. Looking much better with Meguiars products. There are a few more pics in My Gallery, as I didn't see the need to post them here.

Wow! That's some serious gloss. Thanks for sharing. Applied with a D/A Polisher?

Thanks Nick Yep, with a TORQX DA using a blue Hex Logic pad (pad recommended thanks to MOL user drumdan) Applied UP with the DA and ULW by hand. Spent the better portion of last Friday refining the finish on speed setting of 5 with really slow arm movement and 4-6 passes, Whew These 68 yr old arms were wore out when finished. This project was my first time attempting such a lengthy detail but was worth it. Probably gonna top it off this weekend with either another coat of ULW or UQW.

            Nicely done!

Even with my professional, and some more exotic options in my polish arsenal, I can still get as good of results from the Ultimate line.

            Again, great job!

Thanks drumdan and thanks for the blue pad suggestion. Very pleased with the outcome. Now, how often should I do this as it is a daily driver but garage kept when not in use. The polish & wax I mean.

No problem! And like I mentioned, the blue foam is very similar to the yellow Meguiar's, so if you ever want to give them a try, it won't be too foreign.

You might only need to polish once or twice a year, but you can probably wax whenever you feel like it, but "need" is another story.

Thanks drumdan, I might pick up a Meg's yellow as a backup.

I would say in my detail, the blue worked wonderfully
