Thoughts about Ultimate Wash & Wax

Hi all,

I was going to try the D111 Shampoo Plus, but it was not available - so I got a bottle of Ultimate Wash and Wax instead.

After doing two cars today, I think it did the job ok - but I was missing some gloss. Is this to expect?

As I haven`t tried the D111 yet, how does this compare to the Ultimate Wash and Wax soap?

Other thoughts or suggestions for a car shampoo would also be appreciated

D111 closely resembles Gold Class.

Did you use the proper dilution for the shampoo?

I believe the dilution was spot on.

I haven’t tried the Gold Class either, how does this compare?

I haven't used any wash with wax in a long time. I also stopped using Gold Class as well. I switched over to hyper wash which I find to be better than both of these.

Yeah, unless you have a coat of wax on the car, I dont think it adds a lot of wax/shine on its own.

As noted in other post, I prefer just soap and then a spray wax after.

I use the Mirror Glaze #62 Car Wash Shampoo, but thats just personal preference. I would expect Hyper-Wash is the best value overall, esp if things are a but pricier there if you can get it.

Just preference/habit at this point.. I'd say it is similar to the Gold Class soap.

I would agree a lot of what comes down to a person using a particular car wash soap is preference. For example, I have different thoughts on Ultimate Wash & Wax, I think it produces amazing added gloss & slickness for a car wash soap.
