  • Engine Detailer

Any way you can come up with a/an 'engine detailer' similar to the old CD-2 Engine Detailer? I'm thinking along the lines of something that could be purchased OTC instead mail order.

    Just my 2 cents...

Will document internally Bill, thanks for the suggestion. Like you mentioned, currently the products we have which could be used to clean an engine are many times a special order, since they are in our Professional Detailer Line.

      Thank you!

Not just me, but when folks talk about "what's the best engine detailer," CD-2 still gets rave reviews.

I use a 4:1 ratio of D170 HyperDressing as my engine detail. In some instances, I will mix it 5 or 6:1 for a slightly more satin look. I like it because it's a spray and walk a way type product under the hood.

Agree...But for the weekender, having to purchase (at a minimum) a gallon can be a bit much for lotza folks to bite off.

I 'think' Meguiar still has an 'engine detailer' that is offered overseas, but not here. EPA?

Ahh yeah, good point. D170 in an aerosol like Stoner's Trim Shine would be a nice addition to the line in the US.
