  • light swirls on my white truck....

hey guys, so i have a 2017 ram pearl white
i noticed some light swirling going on that i want to address before winter
i have a bottle of ultimate polish ,my question is ,will this product cut ANY swirls at all
or should i use a product like swirl x which i also have
i also have some ultimate compound but i think that's a little to aggressive for this issue
also i will be using a da buffer with a foam pads

    any tips would be helpful
    thanks

Test spot with ultimate polish and move to ultimate compound if needed. Both are abrasive polishes.

well it took 2 full days
but the full detail job is done
its getting harder every year to spend 15 hours trying to get perfection
out of a full size truck
but my ocd says its worth it

Re: light swirls on my white truck....

well i ended up using the swirl remover 2.0
it took about 95% of the marks out
then i used a product called white light its a finish glaze
and then i sealed it with 2 coats of meringues fast finish ,i really like that stuff, so easy to apply
then finished with a coat of ultimate liquid wax
i have to say the metal flakes in the paint really pops now

all the exterior glass got 2 coats of rain x

then meg all wheel cleaner (another fantastic product) and a long wheel woolly
              and foam tire shine

the engine compartment i used purple power and a horse hair brush
then took my cordless leaf blower to dry it after the rinse
and sprayed a towel down with ultimate protector and wiped down everything plastic and rubber

the interior , vacuumed everything, cleaned the rubber mats with p/p
then cleaning wipes and a small detailing brush on just about everything
and then leather protector on the seats and detailing wipes on everything else
then cleaned all the interior glass
and of course all the door jams and rubber gaskets

              i think thats it
anyway its about as good as i can get it
              very nearly show car worthy
man im tired just thinkin about it lol
