  • New to MOL

    Hello,

First time memeber on Meguiars. Im a DIY'er with a passion for detailing. Spend the spring/fall time detailing boats at my local marina and during the summer detail family and friends cars. For the longest time i used Meguiars Mirror Glaze series. Loved the results but I wanted to cut back on my inventory and got introducted to the DA Microfiber line with D300 and D301, and fell in love with the results and have been using it ever since.

Are you using the D300/D301 on the boats too?

      Re: New to MOL

No, when it comes to boats I use M5401 Gel Wash, followed by M91(or M49 depending on how bad the hull is), and finish with Pure Wax M5616. Use my snap-on rotary for the compounding and use my DA polisher for polishing and waxing.

Welcome to Meguiar's Online! If you have yet to try our #M67 Marine/RV One Step Compound, I would highly suggest it! My favorite for gel coat/non painted fiberglass boats/RVs.

Looking forward to help or seeing your threads with your work.
