If you're looking for something with cut between UC and UP, just get some M205. You can tailor the aggressiveness by pad choice from cutting almost as much as UC to finishing as well as UP. Personally, I wouldn't be afraid of using UC anywhere you need to, except on older paints that have been repeatedly compounded to the point where the clearcoat thickness has been compromised. UC, while not truly a "pro" product, is my go-to for much of my work using a D/A polisher. If a defect is too much for UC, which doesn't happen often, then it's time for M100 or D300 and a microfiber pad.
