  • Sweeeeeet!

Scott Clarke, from Gulf Atlantic Marketing, Inc., is coming up to St. Augustine on tuesday, to show yours truly how to use a buffer, how to maximize my detailing, and in general, put me through the paces of becoming a professional detailer.

    I absolutely CAN NOT WAIT!

This is a HUGE opportunity for me, and I can't thank Scott, and everyone else at Meguiar's enough for your support, and assistance in helping someone like me get off my feet, and enter the world of professional detailing.

As far as I know, he's going to cram a full certification program into one day... it'll be a LONG day, but I expect it to be worth it! Our "guinea pig" is a 60' Novatec 60, that hasn't been touched in 8 months. I'm going to wash it before he gets there, but after that, he's gonna show me how to use a buffer, and how to fix all of the problems that are wrong with the boat. I have a good handle on what I'm doing, but when it comes to being a professional, I trust someone that's got over 30 years into it to guide me the way!

Thank you again, Meguiar's, and Mr. Clarke!

I'll post pics tuesday night/wednesday morning.

Sounds like a lot of fun (and a lot of work!). Wish I could join you.

    Enjoy!

Scott will undoubtedly throw a lot of great information at you, make sure you have a notepad and pen to capture as much as you can, don't rely on your memory to lock all this information into your brain as you'll be very busy during the day and tired at the end of the day. We often have people take notes in our Saturday Detailing Classes.

If you can, try to take some good action shots of Scott at work and if possible, maybe someone can take some shots of Scott doing some hands-on training with you?

      Have fun!
