  • 89 Toyota, REALLY DIRTY!

This is my brother's car, yes we share DNA and have the same parents. The car has not been washed in YEARS. I waxed it in 98, to my knowledge that is the only time it has ever been waxed.

Before on the interior, this after I cleaned out everything "big."

Afer on the interior, i replaced the floormats so keep that in mind. The vinyl is dressed with meguiars natural shine (maroon bottle). On the interior carpets I used an APC with the little green clean machine. Some of the grass had welded itself to the carpet so......

Here is the exterior after. I spent almost 2 hours cleaning just the wheels, they could use about 2 more. I used an acid based wheel cleaner and an assortment of brushes.

On the paint, I washed, clayed, DACP w/ yellow meg's pad @5.5, then topped with NXT. I was tired, I started about 9:00 and finished up around 4:30.

I think you doubled the value of the car from $200 to $400. That is one fuggly pink interior, but you did a nice job to what you had to work with.

I hope your brother appreciated it and takes you to lunch at least.

Teak, I have the original, nonheated LGCM. I bought it reconditioned from a local "closeout" store for $39.
