Welcome to Meguiar's Online. Meguiar's D302 D/A Microfiber Polish is specifically designed to do two things, assist in removing D/A Haze inflicted from the D300 D/A Microfiber Correction Compound step that D301 D/A Microfiber Finishing Wax cannot remove, and add gloss. The reason it was released, is that sometimes, D301 can stuggle to remove D/A Haze on darker more sensitive paints. D302 has 0 abrasive. It is designed to be used with our D/A Microfiber Finishing Disc to achieve it's intended goal of haze removal/added gloss. It's also considered an optional step to add more gloss, within the D/A Microfiber Correction System.

          Hi knv4,

It is OK to use a foam pad with our D302 D/A Microfiber Polish but it was really designed to be used with our D/A Microfiber Finishing Disc, to accomplish any d/a haze removal left behind from the D300 compound step.
