Hey guys, I will try to keep this short. I have been searching for some answers on this forum but havn't quite found what I am looking for. Feel free to let me know about a past conversation if this has already been covered.
I fully corrected my paint about a year ago and have been protecting with ULW. I have done a pretty good job of keeping protection on the car so I think my paint is in good condition. I am trying to figure out what soap combo I can use to fully strip ULW safely. I plan to try a another sealant or wax. Everything I can find says that you should clay and/or use a paint cleaner to fully remove sealants. Is that really necessary since I have been using ULW to protect surface?
I would prefer to just strip my wax with a strong but safe soap mixture and then just apply the new sealant. If the paint is in good condition would this be ok? And if so what soap combo to strip?
Or is it recommend to run the paint cleaner on the D/A even if your paint is in good condition?
Thanks for any advice
