2005 Corvette - A Miracle Detailing - CQuartz Professional

The client just purchased this car with just a little over 10k on the ODO.
It was covered in swirls marks!!! It looked like it was attacked by Spiderman.

It had VERY hard paint! I tried many different combinations of products and pads.
Due to the nature of the beast, it went inch by inch slow and took a lot of time.
Normal pads/products did not even make a dent. Warning: Do not try this at home.

The winning combo...
Correction: Rupes 21 - M101/M105 combined on LC Purple Thin Foamed Wool Pads
Polishing: Rupes 15 - Rupes 5" Yellow Polishing Foam Pads with Meguiars M210

Dlux on Trim / Fly-By-Forte on glass / Paint coated with CQuartz Professional
Convertible Top / RaggTopp Fabric Convertible Top Cleaner & Aerosol Protectant

Thank you Nick that is very kind. BTW - FYI I'm still a big fan of M101!

BTW - I'm lovin' the new M110 and M210 twins. They make a great combo!

This paint was VERY hard and "It looked like it was attacked by Spiderman".
I guess I could have tried M110 with Megs MF Xtra Cut microfiber discs but
after trying a bunch of different combinations I stopped when I ran across
something that finally worked. (I'd already made lots of test pads to wash).

The M105/M101 made the paint kinda foggy (but it is was swirl corrected).
M210 with a polishing pad cleared it right up and made it bright and glossy!

Short Version: After trying many products, Megs products made it happen!

BTW - I took your suggestion and although I'm not a big 50/50 guy I did a short 50/50 vid.
Also, per your suggestion I put part of the 50/50 clip in the full vid (it's still under 60 secs).

NOTE: The swirls show up better if you use 1080p

I noticed that you followed Nick's 50/50 suggestion.
If I was the Vette's owner..... That would have really impressed me and transferred info on how much improvement was accomplished.

Yepper, it's hard to pack all that info in a <60-second video.

Yes, I do believe the client was impressed with the finished result.
When I took this car I saw swirl marks but I didn't expect the paint to be GM rock hard!
IMHO this turned out somewhere between "Better than Showroom New" and "Show Car".

* It's impressive to have a 2005 C6 Corvette with 10k that looks "Better than Showroom New".

Nick also made a few other suggestions for my videos. I'll try to insert them in future videos.
