I have some successful experience with Meguiars products on dead and oxidized fiberglass boat finishes, as well as late model Cadillac and Jaguar autos, with orbital and multi-speed wheel. I am now tackling a revival of a family owned 1999 Holiday Rambler Motorhome on a 99 Ford white painted cutaway chassis. While clean, the paint is dreadfully dead. I am not hoping to make an older finish perfect, but I would like to bring back a presentable clean look to the aged, low mileage, otherwise perfect vehicle.
Any suggestions on Meguairs product and suggested pads? Hand application or removal, orbital or multi-speed rotary?
I will need to address 3 areas... the dead Ford factory paint of the cab, the aged thinning white paint over its flat aluminum siding on the coach, and the fiberglass front and rear caps on this otherwise perfect low mileage RV.
