First up, 2017 i believe camry, lease car, lyft driver. Owner doesn't car about car, using it to practice (lol). Owner did not know you can remove scratches & swirls with a d/a polisher. He previously used a rotary with some success, but it of course left trails & holograms behind. We showed him how easy it can be with our MT300 Dual Action Polisher/ DMC5 D/A Microfiber Cutting Disc, and our new M110 Ultra Pro Speed Compound.
Again we went straight for M110 Ultra Pro Speed Compound, since this car had scratches from an automatic car was which uses brushes.
MT300/DBP5/DMC5/M11032/ 5000 opm, moderate pressure, moderate arm speed, 50% overlapping horizontal & vertical passes, 4 passes within 2 ft square section.
Much better! (After compound step only)
2018 Honda CRV. Soft Black Paint. Owner struggled to determine a combination which worked.
We started with M210 Ultra Pro Finishing Polish. It did not leave a haze, which was a good sign, but it did not provide enough defect removal. We opted for M110 Ultra Pro Speed Compound via Yellow Foam Polishing Disc (DFP5) via MT300. This proved to provide just enough defect removal, while leaving behind a good finish.
M11032 Ultra Pro Speed Compound via DFP5 Soft Buff D/A Foam Polishing Disc, M21032 Ultra Pro Finishing Polish via DFF5 Soft Buff D/A Foam Finishing Disc, all applied with various dual action polisher machines, MT300, 15MM, 21MM, 15MM pneumatic.
