Best detailer for a ceramic coated car

    Hello everyone,

Can someone tell me which would be the best and/or safest Meguiar's detailer to use on a car that has been ceramic coated?

    thanks,

Any of our Quik Detailer sprays would be OK to use. If you want a detail spray which does not have protection qualities, some examples would be A33 Quik Detailer Mist & Wipe or Gold Class Quik Detailer.

I have a question related to this thread.

I have become a big fan of Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax. I use this on two of my cars with great results. My third car has a 2 year ceramic coating that recommends maintaining this with a silicon based spray. Would Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax work as a top coating on the ceramic coating?

Yes, it will work well for that purpose.

Guess M699 is the maintenance for the M188, so that would work

Yes, but keep in mind that M699 is only available in European and possibly Asian markets.

Re: Best detailer for a ceramic coated car

Hi, I clay then used the ultimate compound, then use ceramic wax only on the hood of the car to try it out. Great job. I was wondering if I could use the meguiars goldclass quick detailer (G7624C) on the ceramic wax to clean bird drops, insects.... without affecting the ceramic wax?

Also, I found the buffering of the ultimate compound to be quite a job without a DA. Is sctrachX easier to work with?

    Thanks,
    Andy
